Each rider must register individually but enter the event as part of a team of two. Please indicate the team you will be riding with upon registration. We can accommodate teams who would like to contain more than two riders - please contact us for details.
Full Heritage Polaris = $90 per rider
Half Heritage Polaris = $50 per rider
Children under 18 are free if riding with an adult
All proceeds going to support the charitable activities of The National Trust of Australia (ACT).
(Each entry includes a voucher for a sausage sandwich, soft drink and an ice-cream)
Entry cancellations can be made up to three weeks before the event date when a refund (less 20% administration fee) will be made.
Event cancellation, for a number of reasons, is always a possibility and we will endeavour to conduct the event on another date (if possible). The decision to cancel the event will be made by the race committee possibly after consultation with Government Agencies. If the event is cancelled teams can nominate to receive a refund of 75% or accept a 100% transfer of entry to the rescheduled event.
If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 then full refunds (less 5%) will be made available.
There will be a cash prize of $100 for the winning team in each of the nine categories. In addition there will be a cash prize of $100 for the overall winning team. There are no prizes for the Half HP, nor teams that have one of more electric bikes

National Trust Heritage Polaris 2024 must be entered in teams of two under one of the following categories:

- Men’s Vets Team (Member Combined Age >80
- Women’s Vets Team (Member Combined Age >80)
- Mixed Vets Team (Member Combined Age >80)
- Men’s Super-Vets Team (Member Combined Age >100)
- Women’s Super-Vets Team (Member Combined Age >100)
- Mixed Super-Vets Team (Member Combined Age >100)
There are no separate categories if you are registering for the Half HP.
Please note this is a team event so there will be no solo category. Electric and other power assisted bikes are welcome but will not be eligible for any category prizes and will be ranked separately in results.
The minimum age limit for the Heritage Polaris is 18 unless the child is riding in a team of two (or more) with a parent/s or legal guardian/s and we have been notified upon entry. There is no entry fee for children and we can cater for families of any number with regards to uniform bibs and maps etc. Past events have had kids as young as 6 and we would love to see more families and kids participate so please contact us for more information.
The National Trust of Australia (ACT) is covered by its own Public Liability insurance. Participants will need to consider their individual requirements and are responsible for their own, Personal Accident/Injury Insurance and Ambulance Cover.
AusCycling has now made the Heritage Polaris a sanctioned event which will include event day cover for participants. The cost of this will covered by your entry fee.
